From the baddest bitch, this side of the Atlantic.

As a rule, I try not to comment on politics. Especially Canadian politics because while I am a Canuck born and bred, I just don't get it. Recently, our Governor General Michaƫlle Jean has been the butt of some controversy over the fact that she partook in a feast of Seal in Nunavut on Monday. Many animal rights activists as well as members of the general public have called the act "barbaric" as our GG ate a seal heart...raw. Taking it like a champ Many countries are fighting to ban the import of seal products citing that the act of killing is "inhumane" and are associating the actions of our Gov. Gen. with blatant blood lust. While I can't say clubbing baby seal is priority on my agenda, I think our GG kicks some ASS for taking part in an alienated ritual that's been around for thousands of years. Canada, hell, North America in it's entirety is founded on a principle of multiculturalism. Part of having an inherent culture means having rituals and c...

So, you've got to hand it to the marketing genius' in the fashion industry who finally realised that women weren't getting any smaller. Alot of clothing chains that carry clothes for women have started including plus-sized clothing or have been making their regular sizes a little bigger. Gap, Old Navy, Wal-mart, even Le Chateau have all made the change - and personally, I LOVE the fact that I'm now a Medium at the Gap, and not a "We'll-see-if-we-have-it-in-the-back" kinda girl. With that being said, I can't forget to mention the stores that have been doing it for ages. Stores like Adition-elle have made themselves one of the foremost authorities on supplying BBW with the clothing they use to ROCK themselves. Reitmans is another example. They have forever been catering to women of all shapes and sizes including dedicating specific sections in their stores for the regulars, talls, petities, and plus-sized women of North America for a while now. Recently,...

NUNAVUT! Canada's home to the GREATEST and most inter-species-erotic coat of arms EVER Nunavut is a sweet 10 years old today! It was on this day back in 1999 that Nunavut officially separated from the North West Territories. Nunavut - meaning "our land" in Inuktutit, is home to some fantastic Canadian creatures, as well as Canadian Treasure, Susan Aglukark . As tasty as they are majestic And now for your enjoyment, please take a moment and celebrate with me with some traditional INUIT THROAT SINGING!

The Global Cast...of my heart.

So today at lunch, I opted for some Micky D's, because lets face it - I'm lovin' it. When I returned to the office, I noticed yet another fresh faced "Global Casting Star" gracing the side of my luncheon bag. Today's fresh face was none other than Terri from Sevierville, TN U.S.A. Terri is described as being a "Pioneering wheelchair rappeller". If you don't know what she's doing in the picture that accompanies this bio, one might assume it involves huffing wheelchairs in some sort of par-Olympic style shot-put. Not -exactly- what I meant... What she's -actually- doing is wheelchair rock climbing. Terri doing what she do It was a little difficult to find any information on Terri. After a bit of research though, I found out that her real name is Teresa Kusmierczyk . She applied to be a " Global Casting Star " under the stage name Terri Kacie - the same name she used when competing for the title of Miss Wheelchair Florida 1991. ...
