Knock, knock...

Today I was serving a bacon and egg bagel to a customer. Here's the dialogue: Me : "Here's your Bacon and Egg bagel." Customer : "Um, I ordered Egg and Bacon actually." Me: "... Okay." (puts plate down and walks away)

The vilest of the vile.

Bugs. House bugs in particular. We've all had them at some point. House flies, fruit flies, ants, spiders, wood bugs, and a plethora of other nasty little critters. I'm lucky enough to live in a old, damp, plaster-based apartment complex and so any bug problem my neighbours have, I have as well. What could possibly so vile that it would warrant itself a blog post? Meet Scutigera coleoptrata or rather The House Centipede. This vile creature is what haunts my days and nights. These insects can grow between 1 and 2 inches in length and have 15 pairs of legs. Legs they can remove from their bodies when faced with a predator (like a sticky trap, or my shoe) . Something I didn't know, but just now became educated of is that these little bastards can run up to 16 inches per second . That's fucking disgusting. They're also excellent climbers which means there's a high likelihood that one could fall on your head from the ceiling at any given moment. The greatest ass-hatt

And the medal goes to....

If this is what actually happened at the Olympics, I'd be more inclinded to watch. Picture appears curtosy of Perezhilton.com... and by "curtosy" I mean to say I stole it.

Don't be afraid of change...

So, as you may be noticing, I am fiddling with the layout of the site. Reason being is that I've had a number of people comment on how the black background with the light font is hard to focus on. Thus, I will, in the upcoming days, be fiddling with the template manager to try and make it a more retina-friendly page. Please be patient. -Ren

Don LaFontaine died on Monday at age 68. You are all familiar with Mr.LaFontaine, though you might not be aware of it. He is best known as the Voice-Over Guy. LaFontaine's vocal talents have appeared in over 5,000 movie trailers and nearly 350,000 comericals! Clearly his passing will affect us all. Rest in Peace Mr. Movie-Trailer-Guy.

Uh....just watch.

We've all taken a moment to watch concert footage on Youtube . Youtube is actually a great resource for bootlegged, unofficial, or official concert footage. The only problem with Youtube is that 9 times out of 10 you're getting footage from some measly peasant, and not an actual company. The problem with this is that not only is it done by an amateur, these amateurs also like to fuck with the establishment and try out their Fancy editing skills. A great example of this would be something like what happened to G.M.A. last night. Deciding to check out some Buckethead footage, he stumbled across what should have been some footage of Buckethead performing the song Jordan (You should all recognize this song from Guitar Hero ). Here's the video. Yeah - fer'serious. And it wasn't until about 2:30 in that I realised that the dude singing seriously looks like a futuristic version of the Emcee from Cabaret . Anyways, keep your eyes peeled for crazy shit like this.
