Big Tim Chopper

So, I was at Tim Hortons the other day, and I noticed on their TV-bilboard thing that they now have a new vehicle to win.
It's called The Big Tim Chopper.
Basically, it's a chopper, and it's got Tim Horton logos all over it.
It's brown - like coffee.
AND, the best part is that it's got cup holders for your Tim Hortons Coffee.

Now, this thing had been preoccupying my thoughts.

You may enter once without making a donation to The Tim Hortons Childrens Fund. The donation is $25.

The aprox. retail value of the chopper is $100,000.
Now here's my thought:
First of all, if you're going to be able to enter once for free, why would you then fork out $25?

Regardless of the fact that it's for the Children, I can't imagine anyone wanting a motorcycle featuring the Tim Hortons logo so badly that they're going to pay that much for a contest. Hell, we've already got the Roll Up the Rim contest and the odds are way better in winning with that contest, AND, you get coffee with your contest piece! It's win win!

As much as Tim Hortons is a Canadian Institution, I can't imagine it's mascott chopper to be a real real hot comodity to the Canadian household.

Secondly: The thing is worth aprox. $100,000!!

Who wouldn't sell that?!

Shit. That's a $99,985 profit! GOODBYE STUDENT LOANS!
But then again - who the hell would buy that from someone? I mean hell, it's one thing to win it; your money went to a good cause. But who's searching for a Tim Horton's Chopper so badly that they'd pay the aprox. retail value to buy your prize from you, rather then go down to their local autobody shop and pay all of $25 for a custom Tim Horton decal for their chopper?

I wonder if they'll give you the retail value of the chopper rather than the bike itself.

I guess the big difference is that it's got cup holders.

Honestly though, who the hell is drinking coffee while they're cruising on their choppers?

Even the Embrun bike gangs teaming with the middle-aged that hang out infront of the Timmies back home hang out with their coffee. Puh'leeze!
NOTE: the money does actually go to a good cause. I went to Tim Horton Camp in Kananaskis Alberta when I was 12, and it was a hell'uva good time. So know that your $25 does go to good use, and well, profit is profit if you win.
